Re: [(ASCEND) P50 filter to block an IP]

Suppose you want to block IP traffic coming from network 192.168.100.100/24
(for a specific host use /32 subnet mask)
then you can make an incoming IP call filter Ethernet->Filters->
Input Filter->In Filter xx->Type = IP   ->IP...

Forward=No
Src Mask=255.255.255.0
Src Adrs=192.168.100.100
Dst Mask=0.0.0.0
Dst Adrs=0.0.0.0
Protocol=0
Src Port Cmp=None
Src Port #=N/A
Dst Port Cmp=None
Dst Port #=N/A
TCP Estab=N/A

You will need to create a second generic filter to pass rest
of traffic (forward = yes) and then you need to turn it on
under connection profile-> session options->Data Filter = 1.

Hi all,

Just a simple question, can someone give me a sample filter for a Pipeline
50 for blocking incoming data from an IP address on the Wan interface.

Thanks

Ray
