RE: (ASCEND) Dial out Problem
Have you tried slowing your modem port speed to 38.4? I have a router hop
between my Ascend and I had to slow down port speed.

I can dial out using a Max 2012 but it was a lot of jumping around until it
worked.
Now when we connect to a remote computer it will respond fine and then all
of a sudden just stop responding, maybe after 10 or so keystrokes, wait
about 15 seconds and you get to use another 10 or so keystrokes.
I was trying to use this outbound network modem to connect our accounting
people with the BBS banking system, but with the constant delays it is too
frustrating to use. It doesn't seem to be DeskDials fault as this symptom
occurs when in a direct telnet session doing the open command.
Is there anyone one has information on the solution or do we just scrap the
Max's for outbound calls?
