(ASCEND) Problem bundling more than 2 channels
Hi All,
I have a problem dialing out from a MAX-200 into a stack of 4
MAX-2000's. I need 512K bandwith over 8 ISDN channels. The first two
channels work fine. When using MPP, the connection freezes at the moment
the third channel is opened. Since there is no traffic anymore and I use
bandwith on demand, all channels are dropped. After that, the first
channel is opened again and the whole sequence repeats itself.
If I select MP instead of MPP and I set the nr of channels to 3 for
instance, the channels are not dropped, but no traffic is routed over
the link.
On the 2000's I see the following:
first max2000: 2 sessions, both MP, both same MP ID.
second max2000: 1 session MPP(!), different ID.
It seems that the 2000's don't recognize that it is the same user
dialing in. Max channel count on all MAXen (both the 200 and the 2000's)
is set to 8. All 2000's are on the same (switched) ethernet segment, all
have stacking enabled and all use the same stack name and UDP port.
All MAXen (200 and 2000's) use software version 6.1.7.
Bundling two channels seems to work OK, even if both channels terminate
at different chassis.
Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
