(ASCEND) Internet Protection
Well, it was bound to happen. Finally got "teardropped" today.
So, in the past, I would run a Microsoft inspired "patch", which, IMHO, has
always caused me a great deal of grief (from machine never working properly
again, to weird idosyncricies in the O/S)...
SOOOOOOOO, the big question is.
Who in Ascend Users List Land is going to tell me how to filter out all the
latest exploits out there that little punks are using to crash NT
Servers/Win95 boxes? I've already filtered out the Out of Band exploit on
port 29, so that one is taken care of. Any good protection filters that
people want to share?
Should I just filter out all ICMPs all together?
