(ASCEND) E1 PRI dropping on max 2000

Hi,

we installed a Max 2000 today and there's a little problem.
Apparently the PRI (E1) is going down every once in a while. 
Sometimes it just says "Trunk up" in the Status Windows, sometimes 
the PRI stays down for 2-3 minutes with YA or 1S in the line 
display. Anyway, this site is remote and I'd like to find a way to
log these events. Is there a fairly easy way to log/trace these 
events without constantly staring at the telnet session? :)
Any tips are welcome.
