Quake2 works fine with NAT.  John Carmack at id specifically addressed
this for Quake2.  QuakeWorld on the other hand requires Multi-IP mode
NAT to work.  It sounds to me like you need GameSpy.  GameSpy is a
Windows based program that queries web sites for Quake2 (and other games
if you want) servers and sorts them by ping time.  The lower the
better.  Double click on the server and off you go.
