(ASCEND) Max Classic support?

Hi,

is there any chance that there will be some new software release for the 
Classic/1600 Max?

The current choices are between bad (4.6Ci28, with somewhat recent 
features, but also with (for example) the PC Anywhere problem) and worse 
(4.6Dp4, completely outdated, no X.75, 8-mod V.34 modem card does not work 
correctly (ony my Max at least)).

Ascend probably wouldn't get anything from it except a few happy people, but 
a software release on some recent level, without all the fancy stuff (like 
IPX/SPX, Appletalk, RIP, V.110, V.120) except E1/T1, ISDN EU-RAW, X.75, PPP, 
terminal server, and modem card support would be neat & give the box a second 
life...
