(ASCEND) max4048 with 6.0.2(ftik.m40)
I upgraded to version 6.0.2 on one of my max4048's to see if it was
reliable, and also to check the new snmp features of 6.0... nice features
indeed .
However, I am disappointed that even with 6.0 it is still necessary to
reboot the MAX to enable or modify OSPF parameters. Are there any plans
to fix this in a future release?
I am really disapointted with 6.0.2(ftik.m40)'s OSPF reliability. For
example, the ospf process died and would not restart itself; The routing
table from max40xx would not propagate into cisco router without using
RIP-2.
In addition, th enewer version seems to cause reboots rather frequently
with a cause if Index:8 in fatal history.... any chance of fixing that as
well?
