The P50 has lost its identity. Aka the hash code which tells him
his serial number ;->

Two options:

1) If you like adventurous technical escapades, ask Ascend for the hash
   code to restore the serial number and all the hash codes that were
   generated/purchased for this unit. They have a database for this.
   Then go to debug mode and reinstall the serial number and all options.
   Voila - Unit back.

2) If you would better like a new box without an eventual hardware problem
   that caused the loss of mind in the first place, yes, get a RMA.
