(ASCEND) GRF filter logging

Hi there,

anybody using grf filter (remote) logging ?
Seems not to function here.

Did it by the book a la
... action log {
       target <host ip> 514;
    } ....
and nothing arrives
at the destination host.

Is anybody doing this successfully and
could give me a hint ?
