Let me get this straight, this is a month old 4048 and an Ascend rep told
you, knowing that this unit was still under warranty, to rip it open and get
out a SOLDERING IRON? Uhm....either this is a bad troll, you're just crazy,
or Ascend's techs need a whiping.

100 MHz? The speed of ths switch doesn't matter. I assume you mean
100baseT. One thing to check is that the port that the MAX is connected to
isn't set for Full Duplex since it's a 10baseT device and is half duplex.

I doubt these errors are hardware related. They began appearing for us
after some uptime on our MAX 4000 (and only the second MAX). As usual, I
suspect yet another Ascend bug.
