RE: (ASCEND) Virtual Logins

Thanks to all who responded! The problem seemed to stem from our radius
ignoring the virtual requests instead of rejecting the requests. We
contacted our software vendor and a patch was applied early this evening
which seems to have worked. The logins appeared 1 to 3 times each, were
rejected and then no longer attempted to login.

Again, thanks to all. It is nice to be on a list that serves the function
it was designed for.

As a side note, does anyone know of an SNMP tool similar to
http://noc.dreamscape.com/aview/ that runs on NT or any products similar to
http://www.maxstat.com/ for remote/easy management of Ascend Max's?
