This may sound like an odd question.  Does anyone know what happens when
you mix an 8mod and a 12mod modem pack in the same unit?  I know you can
not mix V.34 and 56K modules, but can you mix modem pack sizes of the same
type?  I.E.  If I mix an 8 and a 12, do I end up with 16 because the MAX
takes the least common version, or does it think I have 24 with 4 broken
modems, or does it think I have 20, which is what I want.
