(ASCEND) found bug in 6.1.x SNMP code??
Earlier I had mentioned a info gathering scripting I had written wasn't
working right with 6.1.x
I may have found what is causing it. It seems like a bug in SNMP reporting
to me.
Getting session user times an excerpt reads:
(OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.11.2.1.3)
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.1 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.2 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.3 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.4 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.5 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.6 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.7 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.8 = 1470142
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.9 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.10 = 0
enterprises.529.11.2.1.3.11 = 1469586
Getting user names an excerpt reads:
(OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.12.2.1.3)
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.1 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.2 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.3 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.4 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.5 = "ryan1"
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.6 = "claw2"
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.7 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.8 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.9 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.10 = ""
enterprises.529.12.2.1.3.11 = "cde" Hex: 63 64 65
The sessions dont match as you can see. I've tried this on 6.0.x and they
match up fine.
Getting status valid flags (OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.11.2.1.2), the "2"'s
(indicating an active session) match up with the session times.
Anybody know what the deal is here with the usernames?
Thanx,
-Cygnus
