(ASCEND) PRI Quiescing
I have seen this problem on the list but never an answer.
When quiescing a PRI, I show the channels going to "m"
but the switch never shows them out of service. Bell Atlantic
started a protocol analyzer on my D channel and said I was
sending "service messages" which was a custom message
and I should be sending "restart" commands which are
National ISDN-2 commands. I have my switch type set to
NI-2 but the max seems to still send the wrong commands to
the switch which are then just ignored. Any suggestions?
