Re: (ASCEND) IPX question.

Troy,

I believe their is a setting to turn off the automatic dial for
IPX. I know I've seen it on P85's that are running at least
v6.1.3.

Check in Ethernet/Connections/"Your Connection"/IPX Options.
Their should be a Dial Query setting that you can set to NO.

Subject: (ASCEND) IPX question.

Ok. I fixed my one IPX problem. So I am now routing IP + IPX from
a Pipeline
75 to a Max 4048. The one problem is that whenever a computer
hooked to the
P75 side either gets turned on, or accesses network neighborhood
it will
cause the P75 to dial out. Is there anyway that I can not have
that initiate
the call.

I would be happy if we could just set put up a call filter for
ALL ipx traffic
so they will have to keep ip traffic going in order to keep up
the link.

Any ideas?
