As far as I know the only vendor that can share a D Channel across chassis
is Cisco (and it's a very new feature).

But if you ask me, it's scary. I'm not really interested in passing my call
setup and teardown traffic over the Ethernet and incurring all sorts of
delays...

I'll keep my intra chassis NFAS and that's it!
