(ASCEND) IPX over ISDN

I am having problems getting a Pipeline 75 to talk IPX to a Max 4048. 

The 4048 can receive calls from remote users using analog modem and Novell 
Netware client, however if I try to connect the same notebook to a Pipe 75 
with IP + IPX routing turned on, it will not see any of the novell servers
also doing an ipxping does not do anything. 

We are using NAT on this pipeline.. 

Any ideas?
