A small minority of customers have reported abnormal modem disconnects
when using this release.  This appears to be related to the use of link
compression (Stac, Stac-9, etc.).  Ascend is investigating these reports.
Ascend recommends disabling link compression on this release until the
investigation is completed.

This release has been reported to have fatal errors associated with the
use of MAX stacking.  Customers using stacking should not use this release.
