A data filter blocks any data in the filter. A call filter only blocks the
filtered data from causing a call out.

In your case you probably want a data filter. However if your NT servers
are on a LAN, and you have some LAN routers, you may want to attach the Max
to the LAN router and let it handle the filtering. It depends on how much
traffic is involved.
