(ASCEND) RE: Comapq PC with AT&T modem

I sent the following mesage a week ago, but got no feedback.
We are currently running 5.0Ap42 on our MAXen with 12-mod 56k flex cards.
Feedback / past experience is appreciated.

One of our customers is using a Compaq pc with an internal
modem.
I had her run the basic at commands to get modem info and ati0
and ati3
both return :
AT&T 14.4Data/14.4 Fax Modem Version 1.76
What happens is that she connects fine with 5.0x load but fails
to connect when
the maxen are running 6.0.0.
I did lookup init strings on Ascend's web site but no AT&T
modems were listed.
Any help or guidance is appreciated.
