thanks for the response for the code - it seems that I'm not the only one who 
requires this sort of feature.

I will modify it now to work with 6.x with the new MPP snmp MIB functions due 
to the response - but as you saw, it was quite simple. 

As far as I know it works great here. Ive even gone to the extend of ripping 
the power cable out of the back of the units for 2 seconds to similate a 
mass of reconnections and logins.

Still worked great.
