You all wanted something from Ascend.  How about this.


Here are the details on the service upgrade for the MAX 40xx series for
optimum 56K Flex modem card support.  This service upgrades the fans, power
supply, and enclosure of the chassis.  The model number for MAX4000 upgrade
is:

CS-HWU-MXCHS1-R           List Price $1,700.00

With this upgrade, the 40xx can support up to 4  DM16s (MX-SL-16MOD-S56)
cards for a total of 64 modems. Or the  MAX 40xx can support 5
MX-SL-MOD-S56 cards for a total of 72 modems.  This upgrade is designed to
guarantee optimum performance with the high density Rockwell 56K Flex modem
cards introduced last summer.
