Since you don't mention what version of software you are using, it would
be difficult to say what is a known bug and what is not.
Your best bet is to check the fatal error log to see if it has recorded
the failure information, and if so, to send the fatal error log to Ascend
and get them to look at it.
Since this is a piece of production equipment, you may not be able to
wait for an answer from Ascend, but by getting the information to them,
if you see the problem again, you will at least know the cause (if it
is really hardware then you might just drop ship the replacement as
soon as you see the problem, if it is software then you can get the
problem fixed).
