Re: (ASCEND) PANIC: Problems with 6.0.0 [the saga continues]



OK, the saga continues.  Attached is a log of a user during the lockup.  It
really does look like this is a modem issue, but I don't think it's an issue
with one modem.  I think it's many modems.  I've just recently had this
happen to me.

As an update, it appears that data just flows EXTREMELY slowly.  A ping to
this user showed no data, then a return of packet seq's 1-4, a LONG missing
chunk, then it resumed at seq 81 or so.  It really does sound like a retrain
happening, but it seems very odd that it only happens on one side of the
connection...

Users that disconnect when in this locked-up state leave a Cause Code 185 on
the server.

^^ Is this normal?

The connection sat for quite some time(about 70 seconds by the ping), then
started running fine again.
