Re: (ASCEND) "LAN security error" !?




 From my experience there are a couple of things that can cause a Lan
Security error, First there is user-name & password, Then is the My
Addr field, That has to match up bit for bit with what you have defined
in the local profile of the 4004. 

 Too help you debug what's happening, drop into debug on the Max 4004, and
run pppif (this will allow you to watch the ppp setup)
