(ASCEND) NavisAccess and Max2000 reboot

I am trying to run the 30-day eval of NavisAccess for NT to
monitor/administer 2 Max2000's (5.0Ap27), 5 Pipeline 130's (5.1Ap6), and 2
Pipeline 50's (5.0Ai4).

When I discover the Pipe 50's, everything works perfectly. I can see its
connections, monitor its performance, track its wan utilization, etc. When
I try to discover the Maxen, they immediately reboot. No warning, no
messages, nothing but a panel of red lights....????

Has anyone else had this problem..???? I have not tried to discover any of
the pipe130's yet as they are in remote locations and I don't feel like
driving 5 hours to reset them if they roll over and die....!!!!

I have tried this against both Maxen numerous times and they both exihibit
the same behaviour, immediate reboot as soon as I issue the discover
command.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
