It seems my point was missed a little by some....I was not comparing
ports on the PC - I was simply pointing out that what a 386 used to
do very well at the time, is now considered mediocre. 

The MAX4000 can handle 4 PRI - as has been noted by a few who are doing 
so. What it cannot do is have all 4 PRI running fully laden with power 
users all downloading from the 'net simultaneously. The MAX6000 is the
Pentium II of the MAX4000, and it can handle 4 PRI also - just a lot
better.
