5.0Ap51 is the most stable release, but it only supports K56flex code.

You might get away with it since you don't have ISDN (digital) callers
who are more likely to make failed MPP connections. Your pools will
leak slowly over time and you'll have to reboot the Maxes occasionally.
This is because there could be analog callers w/ shotgun modems making
failed MPP calls.

Then don't upgrade. If you offer high-quality service, you'll retain
loyal customers. ISP-chasing customers are never worth keeping. To those
kinds of customers, no matter what you do it won't be good enough anyhow.
