(ASCEND) Max 4xxx/6xxx and 6.1.7

Has anyone had anly luck running 6.1.7 stably with OSPF in a heavy
production environment?  I've seen some good things about 6.1.7, but
nothing relating to it's OSPF features.

Running 6.1.3 we experienced an interesting bug that I'd like to pass
along.  Everything would work wonderfully for customers...until they
attempted to open a telnet session.  Then the connection would very
quickly slow down all the way to disconnection.  As long as telnet was not
used they could stay online for hours.  This problem was readily
reproducible with both windiws 9x telnet under both winsock 1.x and 2.x,
and with shareware programs such as Simpterm.
