(ASCEND) Max TNT 100BaseT
Helo TNT gurus,
Need your help on the following settings :
1) Shall we know what this any-shelf slot entires ?
admin> dir ip-interface

2) Is it must to set enabled =no in all the other ether ports
expect connected one. We are doing it now.

3) When we are changing ether ports for eg. changing of active ether port
from 10baseT to 100BaseT is it necessary to reset TNT.
4) In one of TNT Unit we are facing problem with 100BaseT.
Here's the configuration:

ETHERNET/{ shelf-1 slot-2 5 } read

link-state = up
link-state-enabled = no
enabled =yes
ether-if-type = utp
yes , all the other ether ports enabled= no.
using the above setting we can able to ping to 100BaseT Ether port
We can't able to ping to gateway.
The gateway setting is :
name* = default
dest-address = 0.0.0.0/0
gateway-address = 10.10.90.1
metric = 1
cost = 1
preference = 60
third-party = no
ase-type = type-1
ase-tag = c0:00:00:00
private-route = yes
active-route = yes
ase7-adv = N/A
The same gateway setting we are using for 10Baset , no problem.
When set debug is on we can manage to see the
arp table entries of same segment ether addresses, but
can't ping to them.
