(ASCEND) SNTP on the Max4000

Hi there,

  I'm trying to setup my max to use SNTP to syncronize the time.
I'm using a linux as a time server for testing. I instaled
the lastest verion of XNTP (5.90) and set it up (ntp.conf) as

peer MAX_IP_ADDRESS 
driftfile /etc/ntp.drift

on the max I get (sntp debug on)

Reject: li= dc stratum= 0 tx= b7b2e8ea
Reject: li= d9 stratum= 0 tx= b7b2e8eb
Reject: li= dc stratum= 0 tx= b7b2e8ef

  The time on the max doesn't seem to change ....

  I also tried to set the XNTPD without the peer line
but I always get the same error....
  Btw, the max is running 5.0Ap20 load eik.m40....

  Has anybody put it working?
