Re: (ASCEND) PC-Anywhere - Custom Protocol?
The PINGS can be disabled, so PC Anywhere will work thru a firewall if
you open up the ports, and load the patches/updates that are available
on Symantec's page. It won't work if you don't load the updates on
both the sending and receiving machines, however. Full details can be
found on Symantec's web page (I can't find the pointers now).
