(ASCEND) hardware reset a dead max 4000?

hey guys,
can anyone tell me how to hardware reset a max 4000?  i have done
it in the past with just jumpering a pin and doing a power cycle
on a p50, and wonder if anyone else has had any luck doing the
same with a max 4000.  it appears to have been hosed up during a
code upgrade from 4.6 to 5.0 and now is even dead through the
console port.  any help will be greatly appreciated.
