Rather than racing to the newly released patch, why not wait on the sidelines
and read this mailing list for a little bit. Of course any new incremental
release will probably bring an onset of new bugs.

I'm still running Ap16, and will not upgrade until Ap21 comes out and appears
steady enough as a result of the mailing list.

I think most software has bugs in it. Infact, just last summer I was at an
ATM bank machine and managed to spring a tiny bug. It had to do with a
certain combination...

If you pressed CORRECTION button, and when asked "Do you have other banking
to do" chose YES, and then re-selected "Show bank balance" - the machine
went directly to "Withdrawl How much".

This is a BANK machine! You would think that the software would be 100%
bug proof. I was amazed. I realize now that I should have paid more
attention to which machine did this - at what time, etc, and reported it
to the bank - but I just went home laughing. To this day I can't remember
the exact particulars of who owned the machine, etc, but I do remember the
situation very well.

Anything relying on software is prone to bugs. This includes the other
products we use other than Ascend.

Some have bugs that are very noticeable (ie: No SLIP connections in Ap20)
and some are very minor (like what happened to finger in Ap16?).

The Major ones are usually fixed right away. The smaller ones take time.

I personally think that Ascend is doing a satisfactory job working on the
problems. I'll stick with Ap16 until I hear more about Ap21.
