(ASCEND) About MS-STAC compression

MAX T1/PRI Reference Guide, at page 2-121:


Link Comp Description: 	This parameter turns data compression on or off for
			a PPP link.
			Usage: Press Enter to cycle through the choices.
			Stac turns on data compression.
			The MAX applies the STACKER LZS
			compression/decompression algorithm.
 			MS-Stac turns on Microsoft LZS Coherency
ARG	---->>>>	Compression for Windows95, a proprietary
ARG	---->>>>	compression scheme for Windows 95 only (not for
			Windows NT).
			None turns off data compression.
			None is the default.

	Can this cause problems with NT or will it revert to Stac if its
Windows NT?
