(ASCEND) Disconnects unless activity is constant



Hi -

I have a strange situation:

I can remain logged in to my Max 2024 using a Zoom 56k modem or a Boca 33.6
modem for hours and hours without any trouble, as long as there is constant
activity taking place.  For example, once I'm connected I telnet into the
Max and watch the ether stats for 3 hours (if I want to).  Other users are
being disconnected when they're performing routine Internet tasks.  These
disconnects occur anywhere from a few minutes up to 20 minutes and more.
What can I change just to see if there is some problem occurring because of
inactivity?
