Re: Re[2]: (ASCEND) Netware Server/Routed IPX on P75
Then what I outlined below is the problem you are experiencing.
We ran into this limitation a few months ago. Depending on your
network layout and how and where you filter SAP traffic, the SAP
Proxy feature may work for you. Take a look at the release
notes. Otherwise stick with bridging.

Yes - we have over 300 Netware servers on the network.

Do you have more than 300 NetWare servers on your network? If so, the
Pipeline can only hold 300 SAP entries and 300 IPX routes. If the
routes for those six servers don't happen to fall within the first
300, that's your problem.
You could also try the SAP Proxy feature, depending on your network
layout.

When using bridging on the Pipeline 75, I can get to any netware
server - attach, browse, download, upload. No problem. But since we
changed to the IPX routing, I have found about six Netware server
(bindery) that I can not attach to nor browse volumes. I can
attach/log on to any other server on our network. I get an error
message "An attempt made to establish session to a network server
failed. Possibly a problem of not enough available connections." I
checked nlist and there are always at least 50 available connections.
Plus if I go to a P75 with the bridged config, I can attach etc no
problem to any server.
Any ideas?
