Re: (ASCEND) Why can't I make 64k calls



I do know from a telco side out here, most of the Telcos connect through the 
tandem on AMI trunks.  There are some of the local switches that can not 
handle B8ZS so they cheat by running through the tandem as AMI.

That is most likely your problem.  Give ACSI a call and ask what kind of 
trunking they have to the tandem.  If you have a good CO tech, they will 
usually tell you.
