(ASCEND) Motorola BitSurfer Authentication...?
Some days...
We've got a new ISDN customer, using Win95\Motorola BitSurferPro to dial
into a Max 4004, 5.0Ap16. We have a profile and name\password set up
for this user in the Max (we've not gotten the ISDN profiles switched
over to our Radius server yet). The DUN settings are correct (TCP\IP
and Dial-Up adapter only; no client for MS, etc.) as is the Network
settings. With Radif turned on we see the call come in and get answered
but never see any authentication information being sent. Maybe I'm just
inordinately out of it, but if anyone has a pointer as to where to
start, short of reinstalling DUN on the client machine, I would greatly
appreciate it...
For example, what else can I use, server side, to do a capture of the
session and maybe trouble shoot it that way...? All of our other ISDN
profiles seem to be working fine.
The error message indicates the server is not answering, but when used
to dial into the telco's ISDN service, it at least returns a password
prompt...
Thanks in advance...
Sam
