Try to set "Flow control" to neither "XON/XOFF (software)" nor "RTS/CTS
(Hardware)  but to "none"  in the Properties of Hyperterminal. Remember,
when you change properties, you almost always have to exit Hyperterm and
restart it, otherwise they don't becoma active (*fuck Wind0ws *).
