Re: (ASCEND) Nailed Modem Users - No No
If you have a 3 bit subnet and 3 people in the house using it at different
time during the day, then you need a dedicated account or two seperate
accounts as far as our service would go. That sort of usage just wouldn't
be profitable for us. We are a fairly small isp, and we want to stay in
business. It doesn't make any sense for our customers to get a great
price if we have to go bankrupt in 6 months or if the rest of the
customers have to have poor service due to busy signals. That just the
way that our business is set up. I didn't mean any offense to you, I was
just trying to help out the person asking the question.
