(ASCEND) K56 Flex "Burp Tone"

        Yes, I have noticed this, but since it appears to be
        harmless, I have ignored it to date.

        Why does it make the short "burp" tone?  It sounds like
        a brief segment of a "test tone" from a old telco test set.
