Wonderful! I am now able to run the 'wireshark' program as a common user. Is there going to be an issue with my having entered the following command into terminal 'sudo setcap 'CAP_NET_RAW+eip CAP_NET_ADMIN+eip' /usr/bin/dumpcap' Prior to adding user 'paul' to the wireshark group? Also I believe I had entered the following command 'sudo chgrp wireshark /usr/bin/dumpcap' but only that... during my wiki reading.
