Not sure I believe that.  I think it's more important to have the right
version of Ruby.  I'm running Rails over Ruby on Win7 against Postgres (also
on Win7).  To me if I can get a Rails dev tool-chain running on Win7, Linux
would have to be pretty darned straight forward.
