Hi, Just 2 quick comments: 1) It would be more beneficial to the person seeking help if people were to base their opinion on the needs of the person asking the question rather than their own needs and biases. 2) The disagreement as to which distro a person should use could be eliminated if everyone switched to System 7 [ducking and covering] -OR- programmers/developers could create a (GNU)Linux that uses the best of all distributions, rather than continue the divisiveness.
