I have an hp pavilion mx704 that has trouble "waking up" both when I hit the kvm switch and when I reboot. I've found no help for it other than hitting the switch or rebooting again (and sometimes again). Otherwise the monitor is fine, and when I switch out monitors, the problem is gone. -p.
