I had hoped as much.  I would expect backwards compatibility, but
good to know forward should work too.

I ordered one on-sale from mwave - wanted a 4-channel model at 3gbps -
should arrive tomorrow so hopefully I can see if that's the issue or
not.

I am starting to miss my old SCSI system.
