I think it would be super cool, so if you have the time and resources
go for it.  I have been getting involved with the St. Vincent de Paul
charity's thrift store in Minneapolis, which resells or donates old
computers.  I've been working on making a customized version of
Xubuntu for them, but it's been sort of slow going because I'm fairly
busy already.  That might be a good outlet to team up with for the
resale portion, although we'd need to add more on the safe disposal front.
