Thanks for the replies, everyone. At the moment I still suspect the memory, despite memtest86+ saying it's okay. I pulled one stick of RAM and am running the machine under high load and it seems okay right now. If it stays up until, say, tomorrow morning, I'll swap the RAM and see if it starts locking up again.
